Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating injured parts of the body such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints.

When the body is working as a unit, it should feel free like a well oiled machine, it will function with very minimal limitations, resulting in pain free and joyful life. However, sometimes things happened in our lives which results in an overload of the system leading to pain and/or injury and therefore treatment is needed to restore balance within the body. Osteopathy is a 'hands on' manual therapy and one of the oldest approaches to the treatment of injuries, osteopaths strive to treat the root cause of the injury and not just the symptoms.

Treatment can improve many parts of the body by restoring normal movement in areas that have become dysfunctional. This allows the tissues to nourish, replenish and repair themselves more naturally.

Based on the principle the of osteopathy, Osteopaths identify abnormalities within the human structure/function system. They then facilitate the body's ability to heal itself with a variety of stretching, mobilising and manipulative techniques. With added exercises and health advice to reinforce this outside of the clinic environment. osteopaths main goal is to reduce the symptoms and improve your health and quality of life.
